Student-Centered Social Media #SCSM

Tori Harle, KACC Multimedia Video Production Student from BBCHS

Kankakee Area Career Center's Multimedia Video Production Instructor, Logan Miller, has selected Tori Harle to be the first student to cover KACC during Student-Centered Social Media week. This experimental program allows our Multimedia Video Production (MmVP) students an opportunity to author and design social media posts on behalf of the school.

Students will be invited, from time-to-time, to put their KACC program into professional action. From taking photographs, short films to writing captions, our social media will have components designed and uploaded by students.

To discern student posts, we will have a new hashtag: #SCSM signifying Student-Centered Social Media.

Tori, a senior at BBCHS said she wishes KACC had the MmVP program last year. It has helped her meet her goal as she has been accepted into Flashpoint Chicago, a digital arts academy.
