From KACC C.N.A. Training Program

How appropriate: It's National Nurses and C.N.A. Week when the Kankakee Area Career Center (KACC) extends sincere thanks to the Manteno Veterans' home for once again being a clinical site where our C.N.A. students can train and work with their clients under the direct supervision of our wonderful staff of R.N.'s who are instructors for these students.

The C.N.A. Training Program Clinical Instructors are:  Judy Krause, Tara Rewerts, Marla Miller, Melinda Luedtke and Cheryl Kucer.  This great group of professionals work well with both students and the phenomenal staff at the Veterans' Home.

According to Ms. Krause, Lead Instructor, "Mr. Robertson, Administrator and Bonnie Mussa, Director of Nursing, have been wonderful business partners for this program.  The actual clinical experiences our students receive are invaluable!"

KACC's C.N.A. Training Program has a long history of an exceptional reputation and student success.  You'll find many nurses and other healthcare professionals throughout the region who earned their C.N.A. certificate while at the Career Center.   This course is also a dual-college credited course with Kankakee Community College, allowing students a leg-up as they transition to the college arena.
