Launch the media gallery 1 playerMatthew Gonzalez, former KACC/Beecher High School student has been volunteering his time to work with our current Law Enforcement Students preparing for Illinois State SkillsUSA in the Criminal Scene Investigation Competition.
Matthew was a member of #TeamKACC last year - they won State Competition and went on to National Competition making him a wonderful resource for our current batch of students looking for the Gold!
Matthew joined the US Navy following graduation. He is a Seaman Apprentice and hopes to work hard to eventually earn the rank of Master at Arms. He says his experience gained at KACC has helped him "reach my goal in the Navy and has made me a better person and scholar."
Once he fulfills his commitment to the Navy, he hopes to continue his career in law enforcement.
We have no doubt Matthew will do well. In the meantime, thanks for helping our students prepare and, of course, thank you for your service to our country.
